Liverpool’s start to preseason kicked off with a 4-0 defeat against arch rivals Manchester United in Bangkok and the Reds will be looking for a reaction against Crystal Palace.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have moved on to Singapore as part of their campaign countdown, with Patrick Vieira’s Eagles potentially ready to steal a march on illustrious opponents.

Palace’s preseason started earlier than Liverpool’s, with training ground games against Accrington Stanley and Millwall, before flying out to Asia.

Klopp was quick to play down the significance of Liverpool’s loss to United but both bosses will be aiming to kickstart their summer in this game.
