Bradenton Kiwanis Club Swears in New Officers, Prepares for 100th Anniversary Celebration

On Tuesday, October 5th, the Bradenton Kiwanis Club swore in a new slate of officers for the 2021-2022 year. We are proud to welcome the new team.

2021 – 2022 Officers:

President: Judge Gilbert A. Smith, Jr.
President-Elect: Neil Unruh
Vice-President: Andy Minor
Treasurer: David Grantham
Secretary: Mac Aldrich
Past President: Christy Cardillo

This year is a special year for our club, as we prepare to celebrate our 100th Anniversary in August of 2022 in a big way!

We would also like to thank our outgoing 2020 – 2021 club officers Christy Cardillo, Gilbert Smith, Neil Unruh, David Grantham, Mac Aldrich, and Mike McCoy. It was a very challenging year, and this team of officers was key to making it a huge success. Thanks to their efforts, despite the challenges, we were able to continue serving our community One Child at a Time.

Regarding the events of the past year and goals for the upcoming year, incoming president Gilbert Smith said: With strong leadership, the Bradenton Kiwanis Club is coming out of this difficult time stronger than ever and prepared for the future.” He went on to thank the club’s members for their patience as we all slowly get back to pre-pandemic life, saying, The club needs you and the many charitable organizations we partner with need you too.”

The Bradenton Kiwanis Club meets every Tuesday at Noon at Manatee Performing Art Center, Second Floor, 502 3rd Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205.

The club is currently accepting new members. Anyone who would like to learn more is welcome to join us at an upcoming meeting and enjoy lunch as our guest. Contact sharonb.bradentonkiwanis@gmail.com to RSVP.
