If you are a small employer and your revenue was negatively impacted by the pandemic – or if you work with small employers – the Manatee Chamber of Commerce is hosting a webinar just for you this Friday, September 17 at 10:00 AM on the Employee Retention Tax Credit. This credit could mean thousands of dollars for local small businesses and non-profits that qualify. The Chamber suspects that many owners and managers don’t have this on their radar. It could mean up to $7,000 per employee per quarter in Q1 and Q2 2021.

If you aren’t familiar with eligibility requirements or the process to claim this tax credit, you can register for the webinar online. Use this link to sign-up or call the Manatee Chamber at 941-748-3411. The Chamber is offering the code MANATEE for a free registration.

“One of the most important priorities of the Manatee Chamber is bringing and information and resources to local businesses,” says Jacki Dezelski, President and CEO of the Manatee Chamber. “We know that for small businesses in particular, harnessing the power of the Chamber’s member network is powerful and can absolutely have a bottom line impact. Imagine the difference this tax credit could make for a qualified local business still struggling to recover from the economic impacts of COVID.”
