By now, we’re all used to the fact that Capitalism(TM) requires businesses to keep coming up with clever new ways to maximize profits by bamboozling consumers, but sometimes the levels of trickery can reach infuriating heights. Some true a-holes out there design products, websites and interfaces not so much to sell us something of actual value, but to trick us into clicking or paying to escape the frustration they’ve intentionally caused.
